[Solved] Add Wireless "noscan" To GUI

Post by adam777 »

Hello all,
From the OpenWRT Wiki (not really necessary, I suppose you are all aware of it... :) ).

Code: Select all

noscan - Do not scan for overlapping BSSs in HT40+/- mode.
LuCI already has it controlled via the GUI, any objection as to why Gargoyle shouldn't integrate it as an option as well?
Thanks, Adam.

Yes, there is a good reason. In a lot of jurisdictions having a radio that behaves this way is illegal (though useful). If someone wants to do this manually, that's fine. However, I don't want to make this easy or encourage it, so that no one can accuse me of promoting illegal activity.
