I've had Gargoyle 1.5.11 running on my TP-Link TL-WDR3600 for a few days now but it hasn't been very stable. Internet connection drops frequently, especially during torrent downloading. I installed OpenWRT because my plan was to go to OpenWRT first, then install the stock firmware back on.
So I installed OpenWRT, decided to go back to Gargoyle and give it another try(1.5.11) and I have a problem.
Before I switched to OpenWRT and back, I was getting around 100MB/s transfer speed between my local server and desktop, close to full gigabit speeds. Now, I only get about 8.5-10 MB/s...
What happened? What can I do to fix this? Thanks.

Is openwrt and gargoyle the same?
If so you might want to ask on there forum

Have the same router with 1.59 and noticing the same thing - sloooooow LAN speed and wifi disconnects. Will try reset back to factory defaults and if that doesn't work, will try 1.4x stable version or perhaps dd-wrt.
Very frustrating.
