My ISP is giving me a very hard time with my internet connection. ACC is by now the best solution by far, but I think it can has some major improvements. 2 of them should be fairly easy to achieve:
1.: ACC only goes down to 15% of the specified bandwidth:
Sadfully my ISP throttles from 16000kbit/s in the morning to abount 400kbit/s in the evening. So I have to set the download bandwidth twice a day.
2.: ACC only triggers from Idle to Active when the link load gets somewhat close to to Link limit. This means that ACC doesn't work on many days, because the bandwidth drops dramatically at 3PM. (often times the link limit from ACC is about 12000kbit/s, but my ISP only gives me much less like around 2000kbit/s. The ACC doesn't toggle to Active and so it doesn't work anymore).
Please add an option to have ACC always set to active and pinging to a target. Or add an intervall to it (like ACC sends a ping every Minute in Idle and gets set to active once the ping is above the treshold)
3.
Can you make ACC react faster?
E.g. When I enable ACC at the evening with 16000kbit/s set, it is on active and does reduce the bandwidth, but this takes like an eternity, because every step takes only 20-30 kbit/s away.
Can you add an option that is based on the difference between the link load and the link limit?
E.g. you have a link load of 3000kbit/s, ping of 300ms and a link limit of 16000kbit/s. Acc could use the difference of 13000kbit/s and substract like 20% per Step
