Question about the modem version

Post by andranos »

Hey guys, I'm new here

I'm trying to choose a modem for my new connection which is supported by gargoyle
I'm thinking about getting the TP-Link TL-WDR3600
However, I'm kinda confused about the v1.1
What does the version means and how do i get it? :?
Forgive me if this is a silly question

Cheers

For tplink the version denotes hardware version and software version.
Baiscly this means the number before the point is import v1 in your case and after the dot it doesn 't matter if you are going to flash it with custom firmware anyways ;)

But since they only have a v1 for the wdr3600, you can order one with paying attention :P
