I had a wr841nd V7.2 got problem of all wire ports (4 lans + 1 wan) and only lan port 4 led is always on but not working (even the TTL console showing the ports is up and down by plug in the lan cable), wifi is working ok, it seems a hardware issue. So I try to flash Gargoyle firmware and use it as repeater only.
I can flash new firmware using either wifi connection or TTL (when using TTL, must use YModem mode to transfer the file not using TFTP as lan ports die)
I knew the new flashed of Gargoyle firmware of router will disable the wifi for security, which cause me cannot log in the router by 192.168.1.1 to change any setup.
Is there any way to enable the wifi right after flash the firmware by means of TTL command or modification of the firmware to enable the wifi at initial?
