WRT610n v2, Can Gargoyle Work?

Post by Joc »

Hi

What is worse that could happen if I flash my Linksys WRT610n v2 8mb/64mb with Gargoyle? Or can Gargoyle work on this? I'm not needing USB to work.

Previously had DD-WRT & Tomato working well on this, now back to stock standard firmware. Gargoyle website suggests if these work, most likely Gargoyle will work.

If Gargoyle will work or to experiment, which firmware version do I choose?

Thanks heaps :)

Gargoyle will not work on this router yet but support is coming. Wait for the release of Barrier Breaker over at openwrt.org. Gargoyle support will be shortly after that.

Hi

I upgraded my WRT610 to an E3000. Google "how to upgrade WRT610 V2 to E3000".... It's quite easy if one follows the instructions to the letter ;)

I'm on my phone ATM and can't find links, otherwise I'd post them.
