I just completed my first Gargoyle install. 1.5.11 on a TP-1043ND.
Installation went fine, but i have the following problem:
My router connects to the WAN without problems. WLAN also works, thus i can use internet on my laptop (doing so now). Problem is my wired LAN connection.
I can connect to the router and access the network. First using DHCP, now using a static ip. In both cases i connect to the network fine and access other devices, but in both cases i cant ping a single IP outside of my home network.
IPv4 settings on my desktop: ip 192.168.1.2, gateway 192.168.1.1 (router), netmask 255.255.255.0 & for DNS i use the ones i can see in the gargoyle webgui that my ISP supplies and seem to work for WLAN.
But i have no internet access because i cant ping anything outside of my home network.
What am i missing?

Re: [TL-WR1043ND] no internet access on lan, wlan works fine
Hi,
Since installing 1.5.11 on my WDR4300 in the hope that it may help with my wireless woes I have a new problem.
If I save changes to my wireless config (eg power level) from the connection form the router does something that causes both wired and wireless clients to lose the Internet. I am using DHCP. Wired client is an old win xp box which I tried ipconfig /renew with to no avail. After ipconfig /all I see the router IP for the DNS entries - is this normal?
Have tried:
o rebooting router
o powering down router and TG587 (bridge mode)
o manually setting DNS on wired client
Also. If I navigate to my WAN IP with a known port of an application running on my network the web ui works.
Thanks for any advice. Had hoped that Gargoyle plus WDR4300 would be the answer to my quota mgmt issues but so far its been frought with issues

Re: [TL-WR1043ND] no internet access on lan, wlan works fine
was your wdr4300 internal IP 192.168.0.1 before ?
if yes change it to 192.168.0.254 and see if it helps.
i had similar issue and DHCP gave addresses with default gateway 192.168.0.254 - when i changed router internal IP from 192.168.0.1 -> 192.168.0.254 my problem went away.

Re: [TL-WR1043ND] no internet access on lan, wlan works fine
I can confirm that Lan clients have no(or partly/short time) access to the Router (TL-WR1043ND v.1 on Gargoyle v.1.5.11). Wlan clients have fully access.
Please fix lan issue on Client Mode + AP mode.
