MiniDLNA at TL-WR1043ND What is the best setup of HD?

Post by webipsum »

Hi.

I have some doubts, please:

My router TL-WR1043ND V1 with 32MB of RAM and 8MB of Flash has no space left to install the MiniDLNA plugin. At the TL-WR1043ND V1 USB, I will put a HD of 1 TB (Samsung S2).

Doubts:

1. The HD conected to the USB can be formated as a single NTFS partition?[/list]

2. If I change the \plugin_root to a NTFS HD, will the DLNA install correctly?

3. Will MiniDLNA work correctly sharing medias through the DLNA at the condition above?

4. I made some tests at the conditions of the topics 1 to 4 but I hadn't hit...

5. In any case, if the setup above is not adequate, let me ask: What is the best setup to the HD works perfectly? Please, would you be able to sugest the particulars of the best setup? How many partitions, which formatting; its sizes and so on?

Many thanks for the attention.
