My boss uses a small Windows 7 netbook in an upstairs breakroom to connect to her W7 desktop using Microsoft's Remote Desktop. The netbook is wireless, the desktop is wired, they are both on the same LAN.
Two days ago I replaced our usual router with a Gargoyle router.
Now she cannot connect to the desktop.
The router's firewall is between the LAN and the WAN, and the connection she uses is all LAN. So I am puzzled.

Re: SOLVED LAN remote desktop not connecting
SOLVED. Or at least it was not due to the Gargoyle router. I re-installed the old router and the problem persists. So, an exciting mystery problem to sort out.
