I used dyndns to access my router from outside my network. There's no problem with it. But when i use port forwarding (on port 1111 eg) to connect to my tv or satellite receiver it doens work. Also I checked if this port are opened and they are closed. I also changed all firewall setting to ACCEPT. Please find my config screen attached.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Re: Port forwarding issue
What tool do you use to access your satellite receiver when you are at your house?
Most of the time these use web browsers which use port 80. For some reason you are using port 1111 below. That would not work.

Re: Port forwarding issue
As I use I added port forwarding at port 1111 to my receivers ip address (which is 192.168.1.7). My DynDNS address is eg homerouter.dyndns.org. So when I visit it from outside I get my router's page (it's 80 port) but when I type homerouter.dyndns.org:1111 I sould get my receivers page. At least it worked before (different router and firmware).pbix wrote:What tool do you use to access your satellite receiver when you are at your house?

Besides as you see I forwared port for FIFA 14 game but when I check all of them (to see if they're open) they're closed.
Re: Port forwarding issue
You need to change the "To port" to 80. Then homerouter.dyndns.org:1111 will work.

Re: Port forwarding issue
But it works only from inside my network. No success from outside (
Re: Port forwarding issue
How did you check it from "inside your network"? That is exactly what programs did you run and how did you run them.
Are you using a browser with the command homerouter.dyndns.org:1111 when checking from outside?
Instead of just say "it doesn't work" how about adding some details about any error messages you see.
There are no problems with Gargoyle port forwarding. Many people including myself use it everyday.
