Hello,
First post after reading heaps about this. I was wondering if the Asus WL-520gC will take Gargoyle? It says on their site it supports Open DD-WRT.
I am looking to have 2 of the routers with 1 bridged. I am trying to get a network going with my neighbour but be able to limit his quota so that is why I am looking at Gargoyle.
Any suggestions would be good. I was going to get the WRT54gl but supply is a bit limited.
Thanks
Asus WL-520gC

Re: Asus WL-520gC
According the the OpenWrt Wiki, it looks like that router has only 2MB of flash space, which isn't enough.
The best router at this point is probably the Asus WL-500GP as it has 32MB of RAM, which means Gargoyle will work smoothly even if you use some of the more resource-intense features like QoS.

Re: Asus WL-520gC
Thanks for the speedy reply Eric.
I take it from the screenshots, that 2 of the Asus wl-500gp's would be able to bridge? That is, 1 is the main router and the other bridged from it?
