Your line speed varies because your ISP is overloaded with subscribers. This is unfortunately a common problem for us home users.

Gargoyle ACC was specifically designed for this problem but it is not a perfect solution. There will be transient times when the ping times become uncontrolled, especially at the beginning of a youtube download, but these times should not last longer than 15 seconds.

Your entered download link speed of 3200 kbps seems appropriate so you can just keep that.

Next time you post a screen shot please post the entire QoS download page and not just the ACC status section.

I'll see how it goes over the next few days and if I can replicate the ping staying high for an extended period.

I haven't been able to replicate the ping staying constantly high. But definitely have been able to get it spiking once a minute or so. I think the spikes are caused by YouTube buffering since YouTube seems to load in fits and starts, instead of smoothly. I have no idea why!
