Would OpenWRT let my router connect to another wifi signal? I want to put OpenWRT on my router, but I'm wondering does it have like a sort of client mode where it would connect to my wifi? You know like instead of my laptop connecting to my wifi, i would like router to do the same and then just plug in via ethernet as well as other devices.

Re: OpenWRT let my router connect
Yes, OpenWRT or Gargoyle can do this
This is called a client bridge or wireless bridge
You can configure your wireless on the router to connect to
another wireless network (as long as you know the password)
