Gargoyle 1.5.9 running on
NETGEAR WNDR3800 router, connected to
NETGEAR DGN1000 in "Modem only" mode
System > Web Access
Remote Web Admin Access: HTTPS
Remote HTTPS Port: 3000
My public IP is 122.148.57.15 and is static (confirmed this with my ISP)
My understanding is I just type
https://122.148.57.15:3000
and I should see the login page, but all I get are "Can't connect" errors from any browser.
I am testing this from a PC connected to the router's network but I didn't think this would be a problem. I tried pinging that IP address and I get instant replies at 32ms.
Why can't I remotely connect, any ideas?

You need to setup port forwards in the Netgear DGN1000
Forward port 3000 to the IP of the Netgear WNDR3800
Or - if you have a DMZ option on the Netgear DGN1000
Put the Netgear WNDR3800 IP as the DMZ IP in the DGN1000
