WiFi only 72mb/s on TL-WR842ND

I will happy to flash new TL-WR-842ND v1 with gargoyle_1.5.9-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr842n-v1-squashfs-factory.bin and it work few weeks but now revert back to stock FW the reason low wifi speed, cant get more then 72mb with any settings. Stock fw give 300 mb, can anyone have this issue ? Router worked mainly wireless and I expect a speed at least 150 from gargoyle, any advise wellcome

You will have to remove the restrictions to allow 40mhz bandwidth

Flash a fresh Gargoyle before applying that mod.

Thank You for reply, I read this thread "how to enable channel 12 and 13" is that connected with wifi speed? just to clarify , I must have at least 150 or 130 mb/s with all restrictions and 20 MHz channel , but I have only 72 , in case I try this way is this will bring me speed up 150 or 300 mb/s ?

Once you apply that mod, reboot, then you can follow this thread:

And enable the option noscan = 1

That will allow 40mhz mode and you'll get full 150mbs / 300mbps
(depending if your router is 1T1R or 2T2R)

Yes, I read this. and Already apply the mod But no result yet. I tryed also another model TL-WR841N with stock fw I got 300 mb conection, after flashing 1.5.9 image get only 72 mb with the same settings and enviroments, it seems restrictions on all gargyle images but for whatever reason ?

Yes, solved exactly as You suggested.
I really sorry for dumb questions, its totally new land for me... Remove restrictions was help without noscan options, now I got 150 on one netbook and 300 on another.

Just try this fix on another model TL-WR740N and TL-WR841N but no result, wih any settings speed only 65 mb/s, I see all 13 channels but inSSIDer shows narow band 20mHz with setings N+G+B 40- encription disabled, please advise me where to look ?

Please advise me, what I do wrong, web page set to 40mHz but radio transmit only 20mHz wide, as I understand need 2 channels to get speed more than 65 mb/s,

The option noscan 1 is only able to set via command line.

If you make any changes via the web GUI in Gargoyle, that line
gets erased and you have to re-enter it.

Make all changes you want to wifi in the GUI and save those changes.

Last change you make - add the noscan 1 to the wireless config file

That should allow you to get the 40mhz channel bandwidth
