Kernel Modules

Post by lod »

I have found myself needing to install some kernel modules on my 1.5.9 image and discovered, like many others seem to have, that the kmod packages don't match the kernel version. I understand that the way forward is to roll my own kernel.

Out of curiousity, which kernel version do the Gargoyle packages match?

As this seems to be a common problem, have the developers considered setting up a small repository for each release version?

This could contain the kernel modules specific for that release and be added into the releases okpg.conf, allowing out of the box support without duplicating the other packages.
