Timezone Issue...

Post by Gabnoj »

Just a little bug I've noticed..
I'm using Gargoyle all the way over in New Zealand, where we're currently on GMT +13 with daylight savings, though Gargoyle is keeping me on GMT +12 (New Zealand normal time).
Would it be difficult to add a radio button or something to add an hour to compensate for daylight savings?

:)

Well, tricky thing is GMT is usually based on GMT +12 or GMT -12

Work around for now might be to set your time 1 day ahead
and do a GMT -11, and that should set your correct time.

But by doing that, you'd probably have to disable NTP checking.

Though it's not possible to manually set the time, or disable NTP checking, is it? (Using 1.0.12, at least...)

The reason there's no manual time setting is because many of these home routers don't have an internal battery driven clock. So if you're manually setting the time, you'll need to set it each time the router reboots.
