Both of these are included in OpenWrt trunk and work fine (LEDs need to be tweaked, but functionally fine). Any chance of getting a Gargoyle build for them?
They are essentially the same hardware
(main difference is DIR-835 has 3x3 on 5 GHz).
*AR9344 SoC (integrated 2.4 GHz radio)
*AR9380 or AR9382 (5 GHz radio, 3x3 and 2x2 respectively)
*AR8327 switch
*16MB Flash
*128MB RAM
*1 USB 2.0 port
*4 gigabit LAN + 1 gigabit WAN ports
*Simultaneous dual-band
Hardware is very similar to the TP-Link WDR4300/3600 that is well supported here.
Thanks for your hard work on this project!

Maybe a better way of asking this question: when support for a new device is added to OpenWrt, what does it take to add support in Gargoyle? Seems like it should be pretty straightforward.
