Any chance we could get a custom build for the Linksys E2000 / WRT320N? I think it is supported by OpenWRT, but some patches / configuration changes have to be made.

You'll have to wait for official support from OpenWRT
There are 1000's of routers out there
It would require too much effort to make compiles/update patches
for individual routers.
Try and compile your own vanilla OpenWRT builds
This takes a while and generates many different files/firmwares

Hi there!
Right now you can get the E2000 for $80. 200ft is quite a distance for inside a building not sure if you don't need a second router to work as a bridge repeater to up the range especially for gaming.
