unable to add usb printer

Hi all,

I ahve attached abrother hl-2130 to the usb port on my NETGEAR WNDR3700v2 and am getting a response that it cant find the printer.

I can connect to the router and the printer is online but no go.

I ma doing the following

1. Add new Port - Standard TCPIP port - click new Port
2. enter in IP Address 192.168.1.1 - click next
it goes off trying to do something then returns with the following error message...

I tried choosing jetdirect from the drop down but still unable to print.

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?
