Hi all

It appears that the last version that 3g modems work with gargoyle is 1.5.6?

I've done some tests with my Ubnt RSpro

This is the output when plugging in my ZTE modem

Hi!

This firmware absoutely rocks! :)

I've tested a TP-Link 1043ND router with a ZTE MF-626 USB stick, here are my experiences...

I've found 1.5.4 the highest version number, which can drive the stick, without any hacking. The 1.5.5 makes the same as some other versions and posted here above, recognizes the 3 ttyUSB* ports, then disconnects them.

At 1.5.9 ive had another issue, the kmod-usb-serial-option package wasn't installed by default, and i coudn't install it manually too.

Logs for 1.5.4. This was made after full firmware upgrade, just wan-settings were adjusted for the 3g. Both [sda] and the 3 ttyUSB* ports are visible in /dev.

Code: Select all

USB Serial support registered for GSM modem (1-port)
