Compilation problem

Post by videobuff »

Tonight I build a fres Openwrt Backfire buildroot environment on a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS platform.
Then I added src-svn Gargoyle http://svn.github.com/ericpaulbishop/gargoyle.git to the feeeds.conf file
did a ./feeds/update and then got the following message:

Checked out revision 3344.
Create index file './feeds/Gargoyle.index'
ERROR: please fix feeds/Gargoyle/package/libusb/Makefile
Collecting package info: done

It goes ok when doing this with attitude_adjustment

Now I am stuck - What do have to do to make libusb/Makefile ok. Searched the web and this site but no answer....

The latest git is based on Attitude Adjustment.

You'd have to revert back to an older version to compile on backfire.

Gargoyle is based on OpenWRT, but Eric also makes a lot of custom
changes on the Gargoyle side, so you can't just hop back and forth
between different versions of OpenWRT.
