How to reflash to earlier release

Hi all, I have version 1.5.8 on my WNDR3700v1 and think I would like to go back and try 1.4.7 Is there any special way I need to do a step down or do I do a normal re-flash via the update firmware option in the System menu. Also would I use the update file or the full install file. Thank you.

downgrade/upgrade is just the same

you might want to try 1.5.8+
