Well G'day to everyone reading
I am an avid loving and caring user of Gargoyle on my WNDR3*** *forgot the number* in either case it's been working for close to a year flawlessly!!! I absolutely love it.
So I have a house full of people who all share the service and I have quotas setup and the whole wiz kabam and we all pay equal amounts to use the service and speeds are reduced and put into a different class when their quotas are reached and the best bit is, there's no bitching and moaning because they know they did it to themselves! ah ha....
So now I have a new dilemma....
I have a PS3 which I use to play COD:MW3 and Black Ops 2 no problems, I have the ports forwarded to my PS3 and everything works great. NAT is 'OPEN' - Very important.
So now........
My brother has decided to go and buy a PS3 (getting it this week) which to my detriment will shit me to tears because we are not going to be able to share the port forwards from 1 x external IP to 2 x PS3's.
Please for the love of god, what are my options and how do I put them into action with this lovely router software?
I've thought of ringing my ISP to ask for more external IP's but they will want to put me into a Business Class setup and it will cost more $$$ than we are willing to part with, so that's out of the question.
I've read a little something about VPN external port fowards but is very vague...
I've ready a little about everything and nothing, and I'm hoping to get some solid answers on what to do and what not to do, and yes I am a security freak. I want it to be tight as possible. So UpNp is sort of out of the question unless, it is absolutely the only last resort...
I am using Ver. 1.5.4 (Kind of old now I look at it!) and I am not keen on upgrading, at least not right now unless I have to do it to fix my current problem.
Any help is very much appreciated
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards,
Brady

yep, Your on the money with only one IP address and using NAT
Its not really a gargoyle problem more network design problem
Bring on IPv6
There are most likely so work a rounds. but as you suggest can be quite complex.
I assume you have tried and turned on UPnP / NAT-PMP?

Well I succumbed and ended up having to go down the UPnP route
It works fine and I was probably making a bigger deal out of it than really necessary
I guess I wanted the 'better' method.
This will do for now
Thanks for the reply
Cheers,
