Re: Go back and tweak?
Looks like I need to "install OpenWrt Kamikaze and then install Gargoyle as a set of packages on top of it" per...
http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/dok ... tall_guide
But which of these Kamikaze files do I put on the router?:
http://downloads.openwrt.org/kamikaze/8.09.2/ar71xx/
Thanks very much for all the help! Very excited to have unbricked!!!

Re: Go back and tweak?
What software did you put on it that recovered it? I thought you were putting Gargolye NH2 software on it from the Gargoyle download page. What problems are you having with the software on it?
Do not put Kamikaze on it. That is two generations ago, we need to return it and get what you paid for before we do that. You need a router that can run modern AA based Gargoyle.
Use the method you used to recover the router to load the 1.5.8 Gargoyle image for NH2. I am not sure about the model number you gave but in the worst case you will just have to recover it as you did and then return it.
I think you have a 90% chance that is will work fine if you load the correct software on it.

Re: Go back and tweak?
I initially unbricked it with:
openwrt-ar71xx-generic-wzr-hp-g300nh2-squashfs-tftp.bin
I am glad to report, however, that I just TFTP'd this (experimental) version of Gargoyle to my WZR-HP-G300NH2 and have a Gargoyle HTTP login page!
gargoyle_1.5.8-ar71xx-generic-wzr-hp-g300nh2-squashfs-tftp.bin
Yay! Now to go play among the gargoyles! Thanks for all the help!
