new problem with TL-MR 3420

Hi,

I've just upgraded from 1.5.2 to: gargoyle_1.5.7-ar71xx-generic-tl-mr3420-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
Now it apeared that WI-FI is not working (probably switched off and cannot be switched on by pressing QSS button)
I was trying to login to the router via browser but i don't know the password.
I was trying EVERYTHING: "admin", "password" even my old password many many times with and without capitals.
any idea how to solve this?


btw there is no reaction on the RESET button and SYS light doesn't blink (just continous light)

- Remove power from router, then reconnect and start clicking fast on QSS button until SYS Led starts blinking very fast
- Set you computer IP to 192.168.1.2
- Connect your router using Telnet 192.168.1.1 with putty or whatever you use...

Execute the commands:
- mount_root
- passwd

You will be prompted for the new password in passwd command.

Still nothing,

Looks like the router is bricked...
Leds that are working:
- PWR
- SYS (continous light)
- 1 to 4 + WAN (depends where lan is connected)
-SYS blinks ultra fast after quick pressing QSS on startup

RES button doesnt work.

Any advice how to reinstal firmware on this? (or maybe i should get a new device?)

If SYS blinks it's not bricked. Search for "openwrt fail safe"

Ok.
so i launched failsafe on the router (SYS led blinks like crazy)
then started telnet
wrote: o 192.168.1.1 and it says:
cannot connect bla bla bla port: 23. connection failed

IP on my locall connection is 192.168.1.2

could you please advice how to fix it step by step or share a link with solution?

Edit: ok, just found out that there is no support for 3g yet.

so i've loaded polish version of gargoyle with 3g suport but (again ffs!) i cannot log on to the router... 192.168.1.1 doesnt work!
i used failsafe, used firstboot and still nothing...
when i go to telnet i can enter 192.168.1.1 and it looks like everything is connected but i cannot open this via browser

Есть проблемка с TL-MR3420 VER.1.2
При установке последней заводской прошивки tp-link
Роутер режет скорость с 60 мб с на 30мб с
Решил поставить OPEN WRT
Первой поставил LUCI но скорость та же 30 мб и веб морда не понравилась
Поставил GARGULYA –скорость та же 30 мб но работал нормально пока не слител в ноль
Индикаторы мигают и всё.
Подключился через telnet по адресу 192.168.1.1
для активации SSH Набираем в командной строке:
/etc/init.d/dropbear start
passwd root

но программа не даёт ввести новый пароль
нажимаю на любую кнопку ноль реакции

PS.ХОТЯ ЭТО НЕ ПЕРВЫЙ СЛУЧАЙ ГЛЮКА РОУТЕРА- я тогда тоже долго не мог ввести новый пароль но как то получилось и включилось SSH и я закинул прошивку в папку TEMP в роутер с помощью проги WinSCP
И прошил
