I installed Gargoyle 1.5.5 on a fresh WNDR3700v1 (I rolledback to Netgear firmware from DD-WRT) and now my 5 Ghz connection will not work.
I have tried rebooting the router and fiddling with the 5Ghz settings (name, channel, width) to no avail. Should I rollback to to an earlier 1.5.x or even 1.4.7? If so, can I just upload the firmware through the updater?

Re: 5 Ghz down on WNDR3700v1
Try different wireless channel for 5GHz.
It may work on different one.

Re: 5 Ghz down on WNDR3700v1
The fix for this was checked in 2 years ago, is there ANY hope of getting this fix in?
We could should start a gambling ring to try and predict the next stable version of backfire. You know, wisdom of the crowds and all that.
Oh, and I already tried using different channels: no joy
