multiwan support

Post by rnbguy »

hi all,

this firmware seems great I am going to order a device soon to configure this on but i was wondering, does this firmware support multi wan load balancing?

So i can have a Gargoyle router plugged into two bridges, and share access to those bridges from the LAN (not wireless).

Kind Regards,
Mina Moussa

multiwan support on TP-Link WR1043ND?

Post by Wuppi »

Hi,
I couldn't really gather from the docs yet whether or not Gargoyle already supports MULTIWAN?

I am newbee and did not yet install it on my TP-Link WR1043ND.

Also, I am not sure the box can handle it all all because it has just one WAN-port. Can I dedicate one of the LAN ports as second WAN port?

I am thinking to use this box with Gargoyle as failsafe router to
run an ADSL as well as a VDSL connection.

Do you, or anybody else, have concerns that it may not work?
Do you know how to deactivate the ADSL-Modem in the TP-Link WR1043ND in Gargoyle?

Kind regards

Wuppi
