Users interested in Gargoyle's Universal Plug and Play or NAT-PMP support might want to check out the latest additions to the repo.
The new interface includes a more informative explanation of this feature and for the first time a table which lists any currently active port forwards established by either protocol.
Build it now for yourself or wait for the next release (after v1.5.4).

Re: Gargoyle UPnP Interface Revised
Paul,
Have you done any testing with UPnP and if you have, how do
you do your tests?
I don't have an XBox360 or PS3 (2 of the main UPnP use devices)
so have never figured out an adequate way to test UPnP out.

Re: Gargoyle UPnP Interface Revised
I have recently switched to using uPnP with my XBOX. It works fine for me. The trick I found was that you have to setup your XBOX for DHCP configuration (Automatic Mode). If you manually put in the IP settings it does not initiate the uPnP request.
The new feature only allows you to see the active uPnP port forwards and enhances the help text. The feature has always worked as far as I can tell.

Gah... there go my testing hopes...
I have yet to find anyone that can tell me how to test UPnP
performance / configs / etc without using an XBox or PS3
Gotta be something else that uses UPnP?
