My broadband connection comes with two bandwidth speed, 10PM to 6AM I get 2 Mbps download and for rest of the day its 1 Mbps.
Now, is there a way to build my QOS system around this? Probably a cron job on the router to switch the "Total Download bandwidth" during specific times.
Thanks in advance

Re: Time based QOS
Set your download speed to 2Mbps and enable the active congestion controller. It will automatically track the speed your ISP provides.
Also make sure that if you use min bandwidth settings they do not add to over 1Mbps.

As pbix said (he is the dev
) My internet speed varies from off peak 7mb to peak 3mb. Using the active control means it keeps track of the current line speed. It's Gargoyles USP (or one of them)
