Re: Limiting download speed to my iPad.

The best way is to use:
QoS - http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=qos
and
Quotas - http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=quotas

Have a read, and have a play, then when you get stuck come back with some screenshots or lists of your settings and we'll see where you went wrong :)

Re: Usb 3.0 NAS supporting Routers ?

Usb 3.0 speeds are basically completed negated by the fact you have a very slow processor dealing with it.

Re: Version 1.7.0 - Barrier Breaker Bugs

Bugreport on my 1.7.x build on WDR 4900 V1: No graphs are shown: - Bandwidth usage - Bandwidth distribution - QoS distribution (QoS is enabled) . When I've had problems with no graphs showing, a reboot fixed it. Specifically, restarting the firewall fixes it. Try: /use/lib/gargoyle/restart_firewall...

I kind of want to say yes... But I didn't do any testing to back it up.
Inconclusive I suppose.

Re: Gargoyle-ispy 2015-February-08.7z

Hello, I currently have a Netgear WNDRMACv2 (Equivalent of WNDR3800)... Has anyone tested any of these newer BB builds on these units and can provide comment on how well the following performs and comment on stability? Am using 1.7.0 on a WNDR3800 with no issues. Currently 17 days uptime, and it wa...

Re: tl-wr741nd-v2 (1.6.2) - QoS not applied to download

I have a working teamspeak3 rule in action, but I'm currently at work.
I'll try and have an answer for you in 6 hours.

EDIT:
Your download rule is mixed up. You want the source port to be "9987", not the destination port. Give that a go and see :)

Re: connect usb hard drive to tp-link

Have you tried it without the hub?

This came up a few weeks ago and no one had experience with using a usb hub and whether it actually worked.

Re: I screwed up. No valid IP configuration.

Geolocation of ip addresses is shaky at best
Generally country is accurate.
State is usually accurate also but not unheard of.

I personally am located 2 hours drive from where my IP says I am.

It's not a feature of gargoyle. Just a nuance of your ISP.
