Re: profile specific patches?

Thanks for the insights. After some more reading and thought I think the only way to reasonably handle the D7800 case would be to define a second device to produce a separate image with it's own DTS file. :( With the RPi case are you suggesting that a uci-defaults script could be used that configure...

profile specific patches?

I've looked through the build script and can see where the generic and architecture specific patches are applied, but there doesn't seem to be any support for profile specific patches. The specific use case I had in mind relates to the Netgear D7800, where there is evidence that many production samp...

Re: Experimental build of Gargoyle 1.12.0 for ipq806x architecture routers

Now that support for the ipq806x architecture has been added to Gargoyle's official sources and @ispyisail and @lantis have made builds available (in the 1.13.x series) I've withdrawn this build to make the space available for another project.

Re: Openwrt 19.07 based Gargoyle

On github here: https://github.com/ericpaulbishop/gargoyle/pull/910 This patch works for me on Ubuntu 20.04.1: Cloning into '/home/andymac/Dev/Gargoyle/gargoyle-9744f8a8/npm'... Note: switching to 'v6.14.4'. You are in 'detached HEAD' state. You can look around, make experimental changes and commit...

Re: Openwrt 19.07 based Gargoyle

Haven't been able to attempt a build in a while, but now that I can I just wanted to note that nodejs is now building but the npm install is failing with the following output in the build log (master checked out yesterday): Cloning into '/home/andymac/Dev/Gargoyle/gargoyle-9744f8a8/npm'... Note: swi...

Re: Best wifi gargoyle Router

If you can find one, the ipq806x devices (Netgear R7800 & D7800, Linksys EA8500, TP-Link C2600) can also work well with recent builds.
