Ok, at first, it appeared to have solved the problem. Upon further testing however, it still disconnects my internet when downloading with Steam. Not sure if its useful information or not but all my wireless receiver drivers are up to date and i can still connect to the Gargoyle admin/settings panel...

At this stage, it appears to have worked! I need to do a bit more testing to confirm but so far, so good. I cant believe it was that simple ... thank you SO much!
