Please assist: Route forwarding from Wan router network
Good day Could anyone please assist me with this problem: I have a 3G Router that is my internet connection. It also connects to a network hub where there is a printer connected. This is a printer / scanner, and when all computers were connected to the original 3G router, they could all scan from th...

Hi there, it's no problem at all, and not a high priority, I'll get around to that sometime. Thanks for all the help on the various issues I have had!

Re: Would like to 'See' my main LAN network from my Gargoyle
Hi there The 801 only has one ethernet port. It is really dead, was so before I flashed with Gargoyle, and obviously without the wireless AP active on first boot, I can't get in. Bad planning on my side. Now I don't expect to use up any more of your time, maybe just a link to the procedure to open, ...

Re: Would like to 'See' my main LAN network from my Gargoyle
Many thanks, I'm learning! Could you perhaps direct me to a page where I can wire the 801ND V2 to access it? This router's lan port is physically dead, I installed Gargoyle via the Wireless connection, and when it rebooted the wireless AP was off, so I have no way of accessing it.

Re: Would like to 'See' my main LAN network from my Gargoyle
Hi there Thanks for the very prompt reply! Before I go further, I'd just like to report that I did some more digging and found that most configurations used different IP address ranges for the LAN side, eg. 192.168.0.5 on the WAN side, and 192.168.1.1 on the LAN side, so I did that and now I can see...

Re: Would like to 'See' my main LAN network from my Gargoyle
Hi there I'd love to attach a screenshot, but the 'board attachment quota' has been reached. Anyway, the problem is definitely firewall design, as the internet works fine, just can't get to the main router's lan side. Here is a copy and paste of the main status screen. Device Name:Gargoyle Gargoyle ...

Would like to 'See' my main LAN network from my Gargoyle AP
Hi there This has perhaps been covered but my searches could not trace this...I'm not a firewall expert, and I think this is the area that needs to be actioned for me to be able to access my LAN that runs off my main 3G router - other computers, printer, usb backup. Connecting to the main router wir...

Hi there, how do I do that? Haven't been successful with any combination of resets, and the orange lock light comes on....

Re: Tp-Link WA801ND V3 - can I flash with Gargoyle for V2?
Well, sadly it appears I have a brick :-) I did the SSID instructions and rebooted the AP, all ok. Then I tried flashing with the Gargoye file, complained about the version. I then tried the Openwrt file suggested by Openwrt, it flashed 'successfully' but died upon rebooting. RIP 801 V3! I found sev...

Re: Tp-Link WA801ND V3 - can I flash with Gargoyle for V2?
Hi there, many thanks for your reply and links, I'll certainly give it a go as I have the router spare and a client needing the functionality, so I'll port my results here!
