yup, updated to the latest 1.10.0 and it fixed the problem.
NICE new interface by the way. The old was starting to look a little dated. The one one is very modern. Good work.

TP-Link showing factory SSID despite gargoyle settings
Hi all, I've been using my TP-LINK modem for maybe a year or more now with Gargoyle. The other day it just stopped broadcasting, so I plugged in the network cable, attached to the gargoyle management tools and had a look, all seemed fine so I forced a re-boot. Upon rebooting, it shows the following ...

Re: TP-Link TL-WR1043ND flashing wifi icon and not working after reboot
Thank you and apologies for the delay. I'm very time poor but have snuck in half an hour this morning. I connected via LAN and logged into the admin panel. Rebooted modem. There are no crazy flashing lights and the WiFi light is ON on the front panel but none of my devices can see the signal. I'm tr...

TP-Link TL-WR1043ND flashing wifi icon and not working after reboot
Hi all, I did a hard power down and restart of my TP-Link TL-WR1043ND today. It's been running Gargoyle just fine now for a month or more. Really happy. Unfortunately though, after re-booting the third light (the wifi light) just flashes constantly, it doesn't show up in the wifi list of networks wh...

Connect to Gargoyle admin over WiFi without LAN cable?
Hi all, I've got Gargoyle humming away nicely now (thanks to all who helped, much appreciated). I now want to do some admin and check stats etc but my router is tucked away in a place that's a pain to move my laptop near and get the cable connected. Can I connect to the router over WiFi rather than ...

Re: Access Restrictions not saving
NOTE: This isn't a bug this was human error.
I hadn't pressed the great big "SAVE CHANGES" button at the bottom.
Slaps face with hand.
Nothing to see, walk along....

Access Restrictions not saving
Hi all, Thanks to /u/Lantis I am now running Gargoyle! Very exciting. So the first thing I wanted to do was setup a restriction to facebook on school nights after a certain time. I setup the rules in the firewall section, all really simple stuff. I pressed the Add New Rule button after setting it al...

Re: Australia: Pay for someone to setup my TPLink TL-WR1043N
Hi and thanks for the answer. I have standard ADSL with Telstra. I have my main modem/router. It's a Netgear DGND3700V2. I have my Gargoyle router. It's a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND. I've successfully installed Gargoyle onto the TP-Link. Then through various tries at getting it to work it became uncontroll...

Australia: Pay for someone to setup my TPLink TL-WR1043ND
Hi all, After this thread http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8257 I've really realised it's beyond me. I'm getting pressure from the lady of the house to get it online and running. I'm willing and more than happy to pay to have someone help get this up and running. If you ...
