Makes sense.
I guess when I restore power to the Modem and Router at same time then the Modem hasn't had a chance to reconnect hence ntpclient cannot resolve timeserver & so ntpclient doesn't start (until i go to settings=> reset the timezone).

Re: Incorrect time reported after power failure
Happened again today. Router had time of 8:00am then lost power so reconnected and it had time of 4:00am. Had to go into settings and resave the timezone.

Incorrect time reported after power failure
When router loses power, the time stays incorrect until I go into settings and click on the time zone again and hit save. I found this out because it set the peak quotas out by a few hours. It happened a few times so its pretty repeatable too - not sure if the degree of error in the displayed time i...

Re: WRT54GL Install Check?
One thing I did notice that when the router loses power is that it saves all the quota data. Fantastic! The only wierd thing though is that the time stays incorrect until I go into settings and click on the time zone again and hit save. I found this out because it set the peak quotas out by a few ho...

Re: WRT54GL Install Check?
Yeh seems to sit at the 13mb or so used. Will keep an eye on it to see how it goes for rest of month. At the moment quotas is really the only extra module running - Web monitoring and QoS are not setup. I haven't put the router on the main part of the network yet ( just me connected, not the 3 other...

Re: WRT54GL Install Check?
Hmm, well flash went well.
Seems to be OK. But having a few issues with net browsing slowing down, dropouts through router, sometimes not responding . But really need to configure it a bit and give it some more testing/uptime.

WRT54GL Install Check?
Hi, Unfortunately we cannot get the preinstalled routers in Australia so I could only find the WRT54GL available here. So I have one here now - hardware version 1.1. Just wanted to double check the install procedure. a) Just login via web interface to the standard interface. b) Upload this file &quo...
