Thank you for your support, the problem was the method of connection as it had to be PPPoE, once it was set every thing is working fine.

Thank you for your reply, I checked with ISP and they confirm it is Ok to have other routers. I also tried changing MAC address to match the old router ethernet address but no luck.

Hi I just got TPLink 1043ND and loaded it sucessfully with gargoyle. I can acess the router page through wireless. The router is connected to fiber optic modem (provided by ISP) via Ethernet cable. The problem is that the router doesn't recieve IP address from the modem and hence no internet connect...
