Sounds like you might need to look into the transmission error then.
It isn’t officially supported by Gargoyle so I can’t offer much advice sorry.

Re: Transmission error
Did you create a writable storage space for the torrents? By default x86 installations don’t grow to the full disc size.
You may have filled the root partition and forced it into read only mode at a guess.

Re: Firewall restrictions
The chains are very interdependent and certain gargoyle processes generate the necessary chains before setting up the restrictions. I think it is best to stick with that method. Besides, you’re using custom Gargoyle netfilter modules. You’re NEVER going to find those available on a real system. So i...

Re: Firewall restrictions
Is there any reason you’re not using the Gargoyle config file?
I don’t know what time the firewall.user file gets installed but it might be too early and the chains may not exist yet.

Re: Qos Gargoyle
I’ve explained how it works, and it works correctly.
I’m sorry we couldn’t find a setup you were happy with.

Re: Qos Gargoyle
I need to see a screenshot of what the active congestion control (ACC) is doing during the Speedtest please At a guess based on your results above, Gargoyle is going to show [7/15] next to your RTT Time Limit. At full speed your link probably can’t stay under that limit. However that limit is alread...

Re: Qos Gargoyle
You have to host screenshots elsewhere and link them here.
If your link limit is dropping then your ping is not under control. It’s that simple.
Start a saturated speed test and take a screenshot after it has settled and link it here.

Re: Qos Gargoyle
Gargoyle will set the fair link limit (and link limit) 15% lower than your entered download bandwidth. As your demand increases and your ping remains under control, it will naturally raise this to approach the Maximum Download Bandwidth. It will never exceed it. Your bandwidth will only be temporari...

Re: Qos Gargoyle
Your link limit is determined by your maximum download bandwidth you enter, so yes?

Re: luci rpc iobroker
This post won't be a 100% answer to your query of "How do I use ioBroker.openwrt with Gargoyle?". I never downloaded it or tried it, however I understand the fundamentals of its operation. As you pointed out, it relies upon luci-mod-rpc and it seems to rely on all API calls happening at /c...
