Re: Best Compatible Router

Inside the link I sent you can see all of the router images produced. It's not exactly a list of supported devices, but you can use it as a reference. I don't have a list. I could put one together I suppose but it is what it is. At a guess there's 150 devices actively built at the moment. It's still...

Re: Best Compatible Router

Hi guys, I'm new here. I don't see a sticky note on what the best router for Gargoyle is in 2021. I did see a similar thread but it was from 2017. When I did a search, it said that the results were too many to display. This depends on what you want to achieve, and in particular your connection spee...

You're running v1.12.0

Re: Gargoyle IPv6 Testing

And how do you limit the speed? Class? Overall bandwidth? Quotas? Connection bytes?

Please stop making me guess.
Also, you've previously done a lot of custom iptables commands for QoS. Are any of those active? I won't help you debug a modified system.

Re: Gargoyle IPv6 Testing

Works fine for me. Would you like to share your settings or elaborate on what doesn't work?

Re: Rename SSID from OpenWrt?

You can change the wifi network name under the Connection -> Basic screen. If your devices are dual band, make sure you change both the 2.4 and 5GHz names.

Hope that helps.

Re: Connecting one router to another via cable

You can use whatever IP you like, it just may not be reachable by the rest of the network. In your setup it is a "dumb extension" to the main network, and those parts don't rely on the IP address being correct, so they function as is. The only benefit to fixing the IP is being able to administer the...
