Re: Netgear R8000
It is possible but unlikely that the chk file was too large and the initramfs is all that built.
Or the config may not have been set up correctly to build the right image output.
You can post your config file for review if you like

Re: No access to web gui on secondary router via vpn
Can you connect to any other device behind the router via the VPN?
It is likely a routing issue. If you could share your openvpn settings for validation that will help.

Re: Netgear R8000
bcm53xx which we don’t have, so you have to start from scratch on it. You can do
make FULL_BUILD=true CUSTOM_TARGET=bcm53xx custom
To start.
Selecting the gargoyle packages is done via a shortcut menu now which should ensure you’ve got the basics.

Re: Netgear R8000
I won't bother with broadcom based devices sorry. It isn't worth anyone's time.
If someone wanted to do a custom build of one for their own use, that is entirely possible.

Re: TL-WA850RE v1 - Led Control
Some routers have this ability.
Gargoyle does not allow you to configure this via the GUI, so you would be doing command line only.
Only another user of your specific device could comment on whether it is possible.
Another option is some black tape over the LEDs.

Re: Archer C59 Update bin causes full storage
Before the 1.15 release I’ll move it to a smaller image profile but if that doesn’t fix it there’s not much that can be done.

Re: How can install Luci on Gargoyle router?
You already know the answer, make them listen on different ports. What do you need us to tell you? You’re forging an unknown path, you’re going to have to do a little research on your own. I’d look at how luci runs in regular openwrt (pretty sure via uhttpd by default) and just copy a new section in...
