Re: VoIP ATA cannot register (sometimes)

To confirm the issue, you can temporarily DMZ the device. If it remains connected, it is a NAT traversal/port forwarding issue.

Re: VoIP ATA cannot register (sometimes)

This is usually due to the keep-alive packets not being returned to the correct device. This is a pretty common problem with SIP services behind NAT. Does your device have a keep-alive setting? Setting this below the timeout threshold of both TCP and UDP (i think 180s minimum?) should help. Addition...

Re: wrt32x repeater not working

I'll double check the functionality, however i'm reasonably confident it will work. The limitation you are referring to is not quite right. If you are using a repeater or client+ap scenario, the AP will not broadcast unless the client has successfully connected. There is no reverse scenario. In the ...

Re: New TL-WR1043ND V3.0 18005 Error

TFTP instructions are what you want to try, as per this article:
https://jacksontech.net/index.php/2016/ ... ss-router/

There are also TFTP instructions on the wiki, to which i was referring.

Re: New TL-WR1043ND V3.0 18005 Error

There is a specific instruction on the version 3 in the wiki that was linked. I'm sure you can get up and running. In future please feel free to drop a line on the forum if you are unsure of any information on the main site. Rest assured that development of the project is active and ongoing. The sit...

Re: Using Gargoyle Router as Ethernet Switch and Wireless Extender

Can you ping 8.8.8.8 from Gargoyle? And nslookup google.com? This configuration really doesn't have many moving pieces so it should just work. The likely problems are: - no DNS - no default route It would be great if you could share the results of the ping and nslookup and some screenshots of your c...

Re: Using Gargoyle Router as Ethernet Switch and Wireless Extender

Try connecting to the LAN port first. The WAN port may not have been bridged in correctly.

Re: Using Gargoyle Router as Ethernet Switch and Wireless Extender

All of your assumptions are correct.
The Router IP should be within the 192.168.0.x subnet, and if you have already reserved it an IP upstream, you should set it to that.

Re: Cannot creat a password for repeater ??

The command line can be accessed by following the instructions here: https://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8505 The config file is /etc/config/wireless. There is going to be one section for your connection to the upstream AP, and one for the repeater. Change the password in t...
