Re: v1.11 OpenVPN observations

Possible solution found, i'm just testing it on my end now but it seems to have helped. You can try it out by applying the changes from here: https://github.com/lantis1008/gargoyle/commit/8b8b5e3e5c98f6ed95202a0ae1fb2b016575f160 NOTE: This config change will be incompatible with your existing config...

Re: v1.11 OpenVPN observations

I've tried investigating this today, and while the behaviour seems a little racey, it worked 95% of the time. I haven't found any clues to make it more bullet proof yet. When openvpn is restarted it first tries to delete any routes it knows about, and then tries to re-add them. If you see a delete m...

No tricks here unfortunately. 30 individual quotas is the way to go.

I’ll look into your other request.

Re: Backup quotas before save changes

i Don’t think you understood my reply. JavaScript runs in the user’s browser. Shell runs on the router. If we want to use JavaScript to run a shell command, we need to send it to the router to be executed. You can’t just write it in the JavaScript. Understand these lines and it will all become clear...

Re: Archer C6 v2 MU MIMO

In the future yes.
For now:
- it is based on Openwrt snapshot, but Gargoyle uses 18.06
- it is based on the ath79 target (replacement for ar71xx) which is not yet fully finished/stabilised

Re: Backup quotas before save changes

JavaScript doesn’t understand that command. You need to run it against the router, not a browser. Notice how in the following lines all router commands are pushed to an array, then executed by another process? Try using the full files instead of minified when making changes. Everything is a lot easi...

You should get a final confirmation which is possibly being blocked by your browser.
Check your browsers console or developer mode to see if this is what is happening.

I will eventually remove the double confirmation because it’s unnecessary.

Re: Gargoyle Software for MTC-WR1201

Gargoyle is currently based on 18.06, which does not support the WR1201. If/when Gargoyle moves to the upcoming 19.xx release, it should be possible to alter the existing mt7621 Gargoyle profiles to suit. If you want to compile your own, you need to point Gargoyle at an appropriate master commit and...

Re: Can't install anything on 1.11

You’re out of memory. If you check your log you’ll probably find the OOM killer going crazy trying to keep your system from crashing.

You should plug in a USB stick and enable an external plugin root and swap space to give your RAM a boost.
