Re: 1043nd v1 and 1.11

There are no open source routers that currently support mu-mimo**, so there's no gain to be had there anyway.

** except maybe some running DDWRT which are running proprietary drivers.

Re: 1043nd v1 and 1.11

The only plugin initially available is the USB plugin to allow you to setup external storage and a RAM swap drive to try and increase stability. Yes that is what i meant by the above quote. It really is your only option on low spec devices now. I'm not sure about USB hubs, i've never tried it. If i...

Did you install it on an external plugin root?

Re: 1043nd v1 and 1.11

The low RAM on the device is leading to the instability and issues. It is a well known issue and more than 32MB of RAM is recommended. The only plugin initially available is the USB plugin to allow you to setup external storage and a RAM swap drive to try and increase stability. This may not be 100%...

Re: wrt32x repeater not working

This thread is going in circles. To answer the thread title: "wrt32x repeater not working". It works fine. Importantly, the Client connection (i.e. the upstream AP) must connect successfully, otherwise you're going to get no repeater (as discussed above). Just let Gargoyle do the settings ...

Re: VoIP ATA cannot register (sometimes)

To confirm the issue, you can temporarily DMZ the device. If it remains connected, it is a NAT traversal/port forwarding issue.

Re: VoIP ATA cannot register (sometimes)

This is usually due to the keep-alive packets not being returned to the correct device. This is a pretty common problem with SIP services behind NAT. Does your device have a keep-alive setting? Setting this below the timeout threshold of both TCP and UDP (i think 180s minimum?) should help. Addition...

Re: wrt32x repeater not working

I'll double check the functionality, however i'm reasonably confident it will work. The limitation you are referring to is not quite right. If you are using a repeater or client+ap scenario, the AP will not broadcast unless the client has successfully connected. There is no reverse scenario. In the ...

Re: New TL-WR1043ND V3.0 18005 Error

TFTP instructions are what you want to try, as per this article:
https://jacksontech.net/index.php/2016/ ... ss-router/

There are also TFTP instructions on the wiki, to which i was referring.
