Re: Change page title?
Cheers for the quick replies guys. I've not looked under the covers on these, but I'm familiar with ssh and vi from other stuff. The boxes are at the other end of a satellite link so I'll have to get Teamviewer started to get access from a local pc...might not be today. The ID in the top left of the...

Change page title?
Is there an easy way to change the browser page title used by the Gargoyle tab? I have multiple routers and it would be nice to see which tab relates to which box. I searched and found the following post (6123): I used gargoyle_header_footer -h ... -j "xxx.js" -t "test",why did n...

Re: Quotas not working
I took some traces and they are interesting, but I can't upload them as it says "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." The graph shows the "others" capped at 50kbps, however my phone records .44Mbps on speedtest.net whilst the graph shows ~20kbps for the same traff...

Here are the quota configs for review/comment. Do you need anything else?

Re: Quotas not working
Have I asked a stupid question?
I have a couple of days home with my parents in which to sort this out most easily, otherwise it's a PITA as the router cannot be accessed directly remotely due to it being on a satellite link...

Quotas not working
I have a TP-Link TL-WR741N/ND v1 that was running 1.6.1 firmware and it became evident that the quota allowance was not working as intended: I had a static IP for a laptop on wired and wireless with a quota and another quota for 'all others' with a separate allowance, throttled to 50kbps once exceed...

Re: Remote admin over satellite?
Yes, I've read the http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=routertorouter page, but the 1.8.1 interface gives the impression the client config is entered directly. If the "configure new client credentials" appears under the server config I didn't see it. I'll check it out tonight/o...

Re: Remote admin over satellite?
I have the new router that I'm taking to my parents next month at home at the moment. As you point out, I have a better chance of getting it work there than attempting things remotely. Where I'm currently stuck is that I can't configure the gargoyle router as a client. If it's really easy, I'm sorry...

Re: Remote admin over satellite?
If you can tell me how to apply a client config to the router I can test it out. The GUI will not let me do it; do I need to import a config file from a different router (or is there a static key config template that I could add my server IP and key to?), or can it be done through the CLI?

Re: Remote admin over satellite?
I was hoping to use OpenVPN on my Linux box for my server, the remote router as the client.
I have an old wrt54g that I could use as a server if it absolutely has to be another router, but I'd like to avoid that if possible.
