I would not recommend version 1.1.6 on that router as I have it on mine and it is way to slow, often freezing up and I can not seem to flash it to any other firmware. (Could say it is partially bricked). You may want to use V.1.5.6 or V1.4.7. Here is a link to something similar. https://www.gargoyle...

I would go to the DD-Wrt router data base at the bellow address that I have included. From there search "1043" and your TP Link router will come up. Click it and from there you can download the "back to stock" firmware that takes you from DD-Wrt to stock. At this time you can now...

Nice! I have to ask do you have that on battery backup (UPS) or just stable power grid. I am lucky if my power doesn't at least flicker once per month.

Just a note that the 30-30-30 second hard reset has no effect on routers running Gargoyle/OpenWrt firmware. That only works for DD-Wrt, Tomato etc...
