ISP IP in active hosts?
Hi Forum, I have discovered something in my Router config. I found an IP adress from my ISP under Hosts with active connection. My Gargoyle Router (works as a router) is connected to a cable modem. http://i898.photobucket.com/albums/ac181/widescreenmindframe/Artikel%20und%20Forumsuploads/Router-Scre...

Re: TLWR1043ND - WAN and WLAN connections unstable
The WLAN Problem is a known issue with the TP Link TL WR1043ND and the 1.6.1 Version. Most users (so as me too) installed 1.6.0. If you need OpenVPN then this is not the best option because the heartbleed bug is still excisting in the older versions. The other thing you mention is not really an issu...

Re: Wireless not connecting after upgrade WR1043ND
Same problem here.
Finally the OpenVPN is working flawless but in exchange the WLAN is disconnecting clients every day.
I hope downgrading to 1.6.0 will solve WLAN and maintain Ovpn.
edit: People should be carefull with OVPN on 1.6.0 und older. Heartbleed bug is not fixed there.

Restrictions with TL-WR1043ND
Hi, I'm using the TP-Link TL-WR1043ND and want to add restrictions for a single host. I want to allow browsing internet only, so I thought white listing port 80 was the best choice. Restriction block all traffic 192.186.0.10 White List permit Local Port(s): 80 By applying these rules I cant access t...

Re: Installing on TL-WR1043ND v2.1
I had the same problem a few days ago. I bought a new TL-WR841N. You don't know which version you get until it's actually here. Fortunately I was lucky and got a supported version (at least for OpenWRT). In the documentary of openwrt on which gargoyle is based (so I guess it should work for gargoyle...

Too much of a noob to get OpenVPN to work?!

I get the error: ifconfig addresses are not in the same /30 subnet Also I wanted to connect from office, to share files. I use the subnet Adress 192.168.10.0/24 for my ...

Router needs to have a IPv6 WAN IP adress
Hi everyone, I have tried differet firmwares and truly belief that gargoyle is the best choice. I would be perfectly happy with this FM but my ISP has different plans. In order to Forwarding Ports (cable modem/router hitron cve-30360) I need to have a IPv6 Adress. I have tried to find a solution mys...
