New Gargoyle versions...
OK, I don't really know what version I'm actually running, the status page says 1.0.0 Final, but the "subversion" I am unsure of.. What I do want to know, though is: 1. How do I find out my "subversion" ? The files that I downloaded are gargoyle_1.0.0-wrt54g-squashfs.bin, and gar...

Quota % used wrong for housemate
So our cap just reset about 16 hours ago, and Gargoyle is reporting that he's used 19% already (15% of 15gb)..... which is possible, however our ISP page is reporting that we haven't used any our download yet? EDIT: The bandwidth graph shows that he has been downloading (over 15 hours), so maybe the...

Re: Giving web browsing top priority over torrents
Cheers, I was hoping to set those kind of limits (QoS shaping depending on app/port) from the router though, not from each client

Cheers - It's on 4096 (four oh nine six - looks like a % sign though )), what should I set it to? Assume we have one very light user, one medium/heavy and one heavy.
Also, what if i set the services as follows:

Giving web browsing top priority over torrents
How do I set this up with QoS? Basically, I want everything to take precident over P2P/BT traffic.... I've tried fiddling with the "Percent Bandwidth At Capacity" variables (anywhere from 40%, to 85% for fastest, AKA Internet browsing) and it's still very slow with a torrent being download...

Re: disabling QOS
Hi, Enabling the QoS through the web interface (ticking Enable QoS) works. However, disabling it through the web interface (unticking Enable QoS) doesn't quite work unless I follow it up with router reboot. On a separate note, if I wanted to enable/disable QoS on a schedule, would it be sufficient ...

Invalid MAC address
New wireless USB key has an invalid MAC address, according to Garg. Address is:
00-1f-33-e2-23-ec
Any ideas? I've triple checked it and I can't set up a Static IP for myself without it.

Re: Wireless connection "times out" after a period of time
Ok - I've just bought a Netgear USB RangeMax and now I'm getting 2/3 bars. Definately working better already, I will let you know if it drops out again
