Access 2 subnets on 1 LAN?
Hi all, I have need to change my LAN IP range (subnet) from 192.168.1.x to 1.1.1.x. I need some advice from anyone that might know if it's possible to setup the gargoyle router to temporarily route traffic for the new 1.1.1.x range to/from the old and retiring 192.168.1.x network. This would allow t...

Re: OpenVPN Question
With credential re-use I think you have to specify IP addresses. Anyhow, I would need to be able to use the same files as I am building connectivity into some firmware which of course cannot be re-compiled for each client. Does anyone have a setup which is handing out Dynamic IPs? Would be great to ...

Re: OpenVPN Question
Thanks for sending me your config files and for the above info. I see that your setup is using unique cert/key files whereas I intend to use the same cert/key files for multiple clients (Which I now understand to be defined by 'duplicate_cn' in config files). Also, by looking at your openvpn_gargoyl...

Re: OpenVPN Question
Thanks for the reply, Are you referring to the VPNs (10.8.0.x) subnet? I'm not sure how that would be different. Client-to-Client traffic is set to 'Allow Clients to communicate with each other' so I don't see that being the issue. Under the 'Connected OpenVPN Clients' gargoyle page I see both unix ...

Re: OpenVPN Question
Are you saying that two machines have the same vpn ip address at the same time? or just that the vpn dhcp server reallocates the ip address? I'm saying that they have the same VPN ip address at the same time. I had a connected unix client which was given 10.8.0.2 and then copied the config files fr...

Re: OpenVPN Question
Can someone please clarify if there is a way to setup one set of openvpn configuration files from the router that can be used 'as-is' on multiple clients? I thought that credentials can be used by multiple clients was exactly that but then when I tried the files on multiple clients they where both b...

Re: OpenVPN - Same Client credentials - different name?
Since there hasn't been any replies, I'm assuming that choosing Credentials are Specific to each client is the only way to create individual names?

OpenVPN - Same Client credentials - different name?
I intend to have multiple clients connecting to a Gargoyle OpenVPN server but wont be able to create individual files per client (since I need to build them into some device firmware). Therefore i've chosen Credentials can be used by multiple clients from the Credential Re-use menu. Is there a way t...
