Wireless MAC Filter looses MACS
V1.5.8 on a 3500. When you enable MAC Filter Policy to only allow mac below. then you enter in macs, and click save all is well. But if you then set Wireless MAC Filter: to disable then save, then later enable it all the macs you entered in are now lost. This also is true if you turn off the wireles...

Ah... There is the problem. My modem is setup in bridge mode. I changed my settings for that now. All seems to be good now.
Thank you so much.

Re: Need Some help with QOS
Maybe you should explain how you are connected to the internet. What is the IP address of your router and the one upstream? I have my DSL modem. Its not like the typical kind i see in which it has multiple LAN jacks in the back it only has one. Out of there its connected to my Netgear 3700 to which...

Re: Need Some help with QOS
Thanks for the help. First what is your available upload and download bandwidth? My download limit is 122kByte, i will adjust it. My upload is 32kByte. i was unaware that no enabling the upload would keep QOS from working properly. I have enabled it. New video here if interested. It seems it still n...

Need Some help with QOS
I am using a netgear 3700 router. running v1.5.8.
I am confused on the %BW and the Min BW settings.
I could see having one or the other, but both makes it confusing to me.
Can someone explain these two settings better.

Re: Firewall question
I need to know more please. The stock firmware would show me a list of DOS attacks and so on. I see nothing like this with Gargoyle. Does it prevent DOS attacks and the like. Is Gargoyle firewall less than stock, the same, or better ?

Re: WNDR3700 cannot login after 1.5.8 flash
For others, i did the following as listed in another thread, and it took care of it. Power up your router. When the 'SYS' light starts to blink, press and hold the QSS button on the right side of the front panel until the blinking of 'SYS' LED gets faster. Telnet into 192.168.1.1 where you will get ...

WNDR3700 cannot login after 1.5.8 flash
I just flashed my WNDR3700 with 1.5.8. Flashing went ok. I logged in using default password then i tried to restore it from my previous 1.5.7 backup. After reboot, i cannot log into router using my old password or default. It also did not come back up on the saved LAN IP segment that i had it set fo...
