Thanks for that, I did a bit more research and decided to boot to the second partition via the 3 power reset method. Once back to the original firmware on second partition I flashed latest factory firmware to get it back to standard then flashed latest Gargoyle firmware onto the router, so far so go...

I have a WRT1900ACS Ver2 with DD-WRT on it what would be the best way of flashing this to Gargoyle.

Flash back to original factory firmware or if possible flash straight to Gargoyle.

Is it possible to setup the DNS Server to hand out addressees on a different subnet to that of the routers IP. or do I have to use openwrt's. I hope that's not the case.

Sorry about digging out an old post but what firmware to flash on a wrt1900ads v2.
