Re: Version 1.3.8
TP-Link WR1043ND. Firmware "gargoyle_1.3.8-ar71xx-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin"
Gargoyle Web interface. "Firewall" tab now only has 3 entries ( it was 6 items ) ? 'Port Forwarding', 'Restrictions' and 'Quotas' are now missing ?
I might try the '...factory.bin' version.
I performed a "Backup", prior to an upgrade from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8
Performed the Firmware upgrade to 1.3.8
I then did a "Restore", into the router, of my settings.
All of my restrictions and quotas are still present, BUT they can not be altered because the 'Quotas' tab can not be found.

Re: Version 1.3.8
It seems TP-Link was adding Second Connection and Dual Access to firmware for WR941ND v2, v3 in firmware released in March and June 2010.
Similar changes in log for WR841ND v5 firmware.
Would be really useful to have similar possibility in Gargoyle.
This would solve many problems for people using Torrent in big (in particular - Metro) networks.
Downloading/Uploading from peers in LAN would be at LAN speed, without throttling.
This would also help with IPTV setups.
(IPTV LAN port can be added to WAN interface)

Has someone checked GPL source code - what modules they were changing? For TL-WR941ND v2 and v3
TL-WR941ND_V3_100609

* Support static route item on the second connection.

* Add Dual Access support.

QoS upload in connection lis
I created the service class QoS upload, various classes, after I created rules to temporarily place the classes each with its proper ip already registered MAC of my machines, I did the same with the Qos download, but when viewing the list of connections informs just right connections and download QoS used, QoS upload but there is always the same, regardless of whether each are registered in a profile, all use the same rule Qos upload. someone is having the same problem? Excuse my English because I'm from Brazil and use google to translate, thanks for listening.

Bruno,
Please create a new thread in the "Troubleshooting forum" for this issue. This thread is for news.
Please tell us your router type and Gargoyle version.
I use QoS upload and it works well for me.
Please post a screen shot of your QoS upload screen.

Re: Version 1.3.8
Does TP-Link have ap with two wlan interfaces? D-Link 825 has two wlan interfaces one for g/n 2.4Ghz and one for a/n 5Ghz. I have netgear wndr 3700 with dual wlans, and didn't get 1.3.7 working. Linksys wrt 400 is third model with similar setup. Has anyone been able to get router with two wlan interfaces working with gargoyle? Is it even supported?Eric wrote:vplessky: I've tested with two TP-link ar71xx models, .

You probably mean - two radios (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz)?virta wrote: Does TP-Link have ap with two wlan interfaces? D-Link 825 has two wlan interfaces one for g/n 2.4Ghz and one for a/n 5Ghz. No, TP-Link WR1043ND has one radio (2.4Ghz). WR841ND has one radio as well.
Re: Version 1.3.8
ifconfig shows wlan0 and wlan1 with unique hwaddresses. I thought these are interfaces.
Anyway I'm just thinking that ap:s with single "dualband radio" are working ok, but these aps with two "one band radios" are failing.
